It seems like you've been pretty involved with speaking up at the school board meetings and raising concerns. Have you found there to be enough supporting sentiment in the board (and the other audience members) to take some specific steps of action? If the rationale is there and there is buy-in, perhaps the focus with this small group can be to synthesize a strategic response to the budgetary constraints by doing outreach as a teacher-leader and general community advocate. I think this definitely is something we can talk about as a small group and hopefully come up with some concrete ideas of how to move forward to amplify your voice as a teacher in the community.
