hi Connie,

I thought your idea of opening two tabs, and then being able to see the discussion prompt as you respond was probably the best way to get around this.. Otherwise, you could always temporarily 'copy/paste' the prompt on top of your comment for reference, and then erase it once you are done with the comment?

Hi James - so I am a bit late in posting but I see not as late as others! I am starting to get the hang of this but it is all still a bit confusing. Once I am in my dashboard about to post I don't know how to easily go back to look at the discussion prompts.

hi Connie,

Thanks for posting-- I remember this specific angle that you and Sue brought up regarding the need for community partnerships, and perhaps financial ownership and support, of its schools. It seems like you've been pretty involved with speaking up at the school board meetings and raising concerns. Have you found there to be enough supporting sentiment in the board (and the other audience members) to take some specific steps of action?

If the rationale is there and there is buy-in, perhaps the focus with this small group can be to synthesize a strategic response to the budgetary constraints by doing outreach as a teacher-leader and general community advocate. I think this definitely is something we can talk about as a small group and hopefully come up with some concrete ideas of how to move forward to amplify your voice as a teacher in the community.
