It’s the mark of a good spring break when you get to spread out all the good things in stages– from the errands of home (an inspiring visit Saturday to Zimman’s in Lynn with the expert help and eye of C.) and a Sunday of room decluttering and cleaning, to the next phase of a few lovely days in Newport (rained in, comfortable and in good company).
Heading out to finally catch up with the old roommate tonight, and then flying out to DC Thursday evening for the rest of the week–session two of the NBPTS Social Studies/History Standards committee. Intense and focused work, but meaningful. Perhaps too many conference calls scheduled through the week, with the TAH grants and the TAF application cycle meshing together, but it all gets balanced out.
