How nice was that, to ascend up a long escalator from Rosslyn to the level of the pedestrian-walking-under-open sky, and crossing the Key Bridge in early evening (reminiscing of those afternoons walking across that same bridge in high school, doing some type of internship at the university as set up by Auntie L.)
Walking down M street (is that right?) with its number of furniture shops and restaurants and clothing/shoe ‘eye candy’ as S. would say, and then deciding on the right alley and restaurant. A faux waterfall with some large planters around. A Tom Brady-like wait staff person, bathrooms shared with translucent blue neighboring club (with subway tiles), and the food..
And oh yes, the conference sessions are going pretty well too-
