Not much else to say than that, right? Driving back from the Sunday Roche Brothers grocery run. Fun to see a surprised and non-shaven president of the BTU–as we engaged in that social practice of politely talking while surreptitiously checking out the groceries and staples in each others’ carts… I think I had a few boxes of cereal on top (yes, the sugary kind– the best), and he had some non-descript items–nothing too damning or interesting like wart removal liquid or twenty jars of tomato paste or anything like that.
Oh yes, the rainbow– one of those nice thick ones, vivid, with the rain and cool air coming in and then as quickly again, blowing out again with a mid-evening resurgence of daylight, a late-afternoon like sun against the middle-upper parts of houses, and enough bird chatter to make you think there was some kind of bird-event going on outside. Lovely.
