Eclairs, Evening Rain, Mom, Teacher Leadership, a trip to be planned, and a Variegated Hawaiian Schefflera

So no main theme in particular, but random pieces stitched together that make up most of a person’s days, perhaps.

1. Ate a good humor ice cream eclair bar (an easy carryover from childhood to adulthood.

2. Am still very much enjoying the rainy June weather (wet, cool and altogether not rushing into summer)

3. Thinking about and being prayerful for mom, and a steady but sure recovery and rest. Dad being so good in calling and in needed care.

4. Wrapping up and picking up new pieces related to teacher leadership advocacy– a final small group phone call with my Teaching Ambassador Fellowship group with reflections, balanced with a good morning conversation with K in the Office of Professional Development about laying foundation and a structure for a teacher leadership certification pathway, and associated professional development, for BPS.

5. Looking forward to and planning the needed get-aways- from a short weekend hike, to a Nova Scotia weekend, to a Rhode Island family get-together (with a pawsox game to plan for), and the big summer visit to East Asia.

6. Pretty happy with a new bonsai-pruned Schefflera plant, bought at a really helpful city nursery off of American Legion Highway with the help of S. Sitting in the prime spot in front of the east facing window in my bedroom.

Multiple pieces intersecting, day into evening.
