Electrician in the House!

It’s a rather perfect day outside right now… minimal humidity, bright sunshine and temperature in the low 70s. Really should be out in it, stretching out the biking legs (which have quickly turned into non-biking legs), but there’s still time for that. It’s something to consider that in an hour or so, the procession moving Senator Kennedy’s body from Cape Cod will be winding its slow way through the streets of Boston with remembering crowds lining the streets and Mayor Menino ringing a symbolic bell once for each year of his senatorial service.

My day is all about the electrician who is working his craft-magic in my place right now, though. Ceiling fans and fixtures are coming down and the new pieces are going up (thanks C, for all that guidance). It feels like rooms are coming together a little bit more.  I really wish that I had some of these trade skills… maybe it’s time to pick up that do-it-yourself home improvement book or to take a class or two in the fall.  (Though when I’m all done with my ‘improvements,’ I’ll probably have to be ready to call the real professionals.  ha)
