It was one of those fall days today– bright sun, crisp morning air and the foliage with a special kind of brilliance. Lit, almost. A Sorella’s breakfast and church meeting in the morning. An afternoon bike ride to the local grocery, a post-ride afternoon nap with open windows and in filtered sunlight, and a lantern-glowed evening walk around Jamaica Pond in the company of one, along with a few thousand others–adults having memorable-parenting-experiences with costumed kids, pets (some of them, sigh, costumed too) and glowing lights in hand. An Upper Crust pizza to go and a taste of peanut butter and chocolate ice-cream for dessert.
One of those days you kind of wish you could wake up to again and again.
