I forget, sometimes, how nice it is to live at once in the city and the edge of it at the same time. Stepping out into a bright, brisk morning in your quiet neighborhood and making the ten minute walk to the closest T station to get off twenty minutes later in Government Center. All of a sudden, it feels like the city. Walking through the weekend produce and seafood market in Haymarket on the way to the North End. And settling in for a hot chai and some school work in a comfortably packed coffee place, looking forward to later walking and exploration (and of course, food) with a later arriving S. Promise of more hot drinks and connolis.
