Making Public Transportation Work

One of the best things about living in the city is having access to public transportation. I’m pretty tied to using my car most days since going from school to school usually makes doing the T station to bus to school option unworkable in terms of time. (Now biking could be a pretty appealing possibility..?)

It so happened that the T worked for me today though, with a morning appointment in the North End (and the tempting appeal of the coffeeshops and bakeries along the way) and heading back out on the train in late afternoon for the Harvard Extension School class I signed up for on Theory and Practice of Web Pedagogies. (Have to appreciate the vouchers from hosting student teachers).  Harvard Square and its own dense world of busyness.

I admit that I did have to take the car for the afternoon appointment in South Boston, but all-in-all, glad to get in the walking and traveling in close company of other Bostonians going about their day’s business.
