It’s one of those processes that are deeper than you expect, perhaps. How satisfying to go through that first phase of tearing down. But I guess after hauling down surprisingly heavy particle board pieces down a few flights of stairs for an hour and a half? You figure, hey self, that’s pretty good progress on the project. Time to put it away for a while. Not possible though, since it’s one of those projects that make you feel it if it stays unfinished. Clothes all over the place and such.  On I went.

After sanding down the spackling, doing some priming.

After a Home Depot run, cutting out with a color called Sparkling Spring, and then rolling out (always so satisfying).  Ran a bit lighter than expected, but has the right tones when fully dried.  Sometimes blueish, than greenish than whitish.

Cutting with Sparkling Spring and a borrowed ladder

Finished with the painting!
