Feeling pretty lucky to have that back porch these days– with the electric grill primed up for use, the small patio table wiped down (man, all that pollen), and the potted plants–a hanging fuscia basket and a surprisingly healthy honeysuckle plant–rounding out the sense of home extended outdoors. A grilled dinner in the early to mid evening light, low 70s. Grilled lamb chops, mashed potatoes, swiss chard and a glass of red wine. Just right.
Took advantage of the great weather this weekend too, biking out with a small group of friends through West Roxbury and out to Dover. Talk about nice homes and perfect biking roads out there. A ton of riders out doing the same. And then a short afternoon hike at the Blue Hills reservation with S, pushing up some hills, a short rest at top, and rewarding ourselves later with a nice dinner out. Thinking and planning out the summer trip to South America.
Love the spring.
